Welcome!

Hi! My name is Sam and I'm working with a charity called SKIP (registered charity 1099804) who support children in communities throughout the developing world. This summer I'm going out to Madagascar to help educate the children about hygiene and sanitation to help reduce preventable disease such as diarrhoea which are partly responsible for statistics such as these.

Life Expectancy: 56.1 years

Infant Mortality: 80 per 1,000 live births

Under Five Mortality: 136 per 1,000 live births

Maternal Mortality Rate: 490 per 100,000 live births

Percentage Population with Access to Safe Drinking Water :47%

Whilst there we also do building projects for the community such as renovating the market place. In order to go there I need to raise £1500, so any donations are greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time.

Rowers Take to the Court to Raise Cash for Charity

Today Juniors from Nottingham Rowing Club took part in a basketball match in aid of SKIP! On what was an awesome day £43.50 was raised thanks to Ben Sibly, Sam Padbury, Ed Fisher, Dec Gamble, Connor Gamble, Rowann, Martin Kay and Jim Waller. The event was made possible due to the generous people and excellent basketball facilities at Holme Pierre Pont in West Bridgeford making sure that 100% of the moey raised goes to Madagascar.

Thanks again to everyone who made this possible
